Rome, 10th April 2020 – Due to the latest developments related to the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), the management of Rome Fashion Week has decided to postpone the next edition of the event.

The new dates will be 19th to 21st  September 2020. Fiera di Roma is confirmed as the venue of the event.

The safeguarding of public health, the change in the fashion and ceremony market, the different purchasing habits of final customers and the necessary postponement of the beginning of the season led to this choice of the organization, to protect both the health of visitors, exhibitors and workers, and the economic interests of the companies involved and of the Organizer itself.

Another important element in the choice is also the fresh start of commercial activities which will take place as soon as possible, as we trust; therefore, this makes the date of September the best for the shopping season.

All the staff of the event has worked to date to complete the work in view of the scheduled dates; the decision was made in the last few hours, with the precise desire to favor commercial agreements with a long distance date.

The new date, already in the calendar of international events, will ensure maximum visibility for all companies at a very important moment for the fashion market.

This change in date will not bring any change in the program of the event: national and international brands have already confirmed their presence and are preparing to preview the 2021 collections to an enthusiastic audience of buyers and retailers.
