Rome, 03 March 2020– Due to the latest developments related to the spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19), the management of Rome Bridal Week has decided to postpone the next edition of the event.
The new dates are 9th to 11th May 2020.
The precise request made by companies and buyers to postpone the date of the event led to this choice of the organization, to protect both the health of visitors, exhibitors and workers, and the economic interests of the companies involved and the Organizer himself.
In this delicate moment, the most responsible action is to find a solution that protects public health.
Furthermore, the uncertainty relating to air traffic – many flights, to date, have been canceled until the end of March and most likely this will be extended until mid April – would have caused further troubles to visitors and exhibitors.
All the staff of the event has worked to date to complete the work for the scheduled dates; the decision was made in the last hours, given the national situation.
The new date, already in the calendar of international events, will ensure maximum visibility for all companies at a very important moment for the bridal market.
This shift of the dates will not bring any change in the program of the event: national and international brands have already confirmed their presence and are preparing to showcase the 2021 collections to an enthusiastic audience of buyers and retailers.
